Building our neighbourhood, together
This initiative is a 5-year collective project organized by local residents and organizations, to support the development of public space in the western downtown neighbourhood of Peter-McGill.
Innovation Youth & the My Peter-McGill project
This project brings together many organizations in our neighbourhood. Innovation Youth decided to join forces with our neighbours and residents, focusing on youth and children outreach in Peter-McGill.
Our mission in this project: empower youth and children to become better engaged in their community.

“No School in Peter-McGill” Workshop
Over the course of this workshop, artist Marie-Pierre Labrie brought students from Innovation Youth, including the Sommet Tecc school, to reflect on various issues affecting the Peter-McGill neighbourhood. Participants described what they perceived to be their place in the neighbourhood and how they took part in the community. Youth also discussed the lack of a public primary school in the neighbourhood. The students discussed their opinions and where they thought would be the ideal spot for a school in Peter-McGill.
