Cooking with kids can be so fun ! And its a great way to teach them to eat healthy snacks. Here is one of Innovation Youth’s favourite snacks. We make this in our family collective kitchen. Enjoy !
Chickpea Snack (recipe from Trois fois par jour)
Makes about 1 ½ cups
Time : 60 minutes
1 can (540 ml) of chickpeas, drained and rinced
1 teaspoon of chili powder
½ teaspoon of cumin
½ teaspoon of sea salt
¼ cup of parmesan cheese
pinch of cayenne
- Preheat oven to 400 F
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients.
- Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, untll chickpeas have browned. Flip chickpeas every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.
